The OMS Smart Reel body is made of fiberglass reinforced nylon. This makes the OMS Reel very robust and impact-resistant. There are recessed grips on the outside with which the reel can be unlocked or locked. It is also possible to swap the spool of the reel for cleaning purposes or to refill the OMS reel with a line underwater. This is also possible with thick neoprene gloves or with dry gloves.
